The sample pages shown are taken from a two-column column book that has balanced two-column footnotes. The sample is a PDF file that is 244 KB in size. Some of the features to note are as follows: Three-level “ears” that are picked up from the attributes of three separate tagged elements under Style File control The square brackets in the ears do not appear in data – they are inserted via Style File control in the tag descriptors Tabular material and footnotes cited within a table on page 5-23 Columns balanced on page 5-24 before switch to full measure for page 5-25 The sample pages linked here are Portable Document Format^® files produced by Pagetec's SGML Composer executed with our PDF Driver invoked.
